Semi-custom Wedding Suite Guide

As a letterpress printer and as a former bride I know it can be difficult to navigate the immense quantity of wedding invitation designs you can pick through. Even as a couple, it can be so overwhelming to try to decide what best fits both of your personalities. A wedding invitation sets the tone for your entire wedding, also its an announcement to all your friends and family who you will spend your whole life with! (No pressure right!?) Here is where I would love to be of help… you can browse through our semi-custom designs and personalize the wording, envelope colors, and ink colors to become your own. PRINT METHOD

Letterpress printing is the only in-house printing we offer. As the most luxurious of printing methods letterpress gives a tactile impression that won’t be forgotten.

Letterpress is a true art. Each piece is hand fed one at a time, onto the platen of a vintage letterpress printing machine. Each piece is then carefully inspected to make sure it is as high quality as we can achieve! This creates a gorgeous impression. Your wedding guests wont want to throw it away!

QUANTITY

There is a order minimum of 25 for semi-custom items. We encourage you you add 5-10 extra pieces to account for last minute additions to your guest list, and of course make sure you keep at least one for yourselves! Once your order is in the processing stage we are unable to change the quantity of your order.

Payments

All orders must be paid in full before order is fulfilled. Payment can be made by cash, check/ money order, or through online invoice.

Cancellation by me for any reason

Cache Letterpress cannot be responsible for unforeseen circumstances, work-stoppages, and acts of God, which may make it impossible for me to complete your job in a reasonable amount

of time. My complete obligation to you may be discharged in its entirety by my refund of your deposit, without prejudice, and disclaiming any secondary consequences or costs that you may incur. It is my intention to complete every job to completion, but if there is a substantial reason that I choose not to move forward with any part of your project, a refund will be assessed and you will be required to sign a refund form with agreed refund amount.

Cancellation by you for any reason

Cancellations after the job has been sent to press will not be accepted. You cannot cancel any part of your job once the final invoice has been paid. All quantities of each item provided in the invoice are covered by this clause upon acceptance of this contract. Any quantities lowered or items cancelled are at the sole discretion of Cache Letterpress and will constitute forfeiture of that portion of the invoice.

Cache Letterpress retains all rights to my artwork and designs, including but not limited to custom and commissioned designs. Any reproduction of my artwork is prohibited unless given prior written permission from Cache Letterpress

Envelopes

Blank envelopes will be included with every purchase of Invitations, Save the Dates, and RSVP cards. The euro flap envelope is our preferred envelope shape- it’s a classic style and it adds a nice finish to your project. Envelopes are available in a large selection of colors. Please specify a color you are looking for and I will do my best to accommodate your request. Keep in mind that colors may vary from swatches shown on screen to screen.

Return address and guest address printing is optional. All address printing is digital and will be done so by a trusted vendor, white ink will be used to print on dark envelopes. If you select either of these options we will be in touch to discuss the specifics and bill the additional charge.

INK COLORS

We offer any custom ink color to accompany our semi-custom designs. You will request a shade of a color and we will be in touch to find a Pantone color that you want. Colors may very from swatches shown on screen.

DESIGN

After placing your order, you will be emailed a form to fill out and provide additional details. This form will capture all the information we will need to customize your pieces. Please fill this form out promptly after receiving the email so we may get started right away.

Once we have received your completed form we will create your design based on the information provided. You can expect your first proof within 5-7 business days of your purchase. Included in your purchase is 3 rounds of digital proofs, your first proof will be designed to your specifications from your original form. You then have two rounds of revisions to alter your information, ink color selection and copy. If more revisions are needed additional fees will be charged.

Your first proof will be sent in 5-7 business days, after that your timeline will depend on how quickly you respond. Please allow 3 business days for every revision to be made and resent.

Printing + Production

With your final approval of the design, we will move to the print stage. Printing turnaround time is typically 14 business days from the time of artwork approval, plus shipping time. Once we are in the printing phase we are unable to make changes to your order. 

 

Design

All of our projects shipped within the United States are sent USPS Priority Mail (1-2 business days). You will be sent a tracking number when your order has shipped. Please contact us for a quote for international shipping prior to purchase.
